Assignment Due: 10-5-11

What are my creative interests?

I don't really view myself as a very creative person, so as you might guess it is hard for me to list my creative interests, but here it goes. I enjoy doing creative type stuff on my computer I think a little more then I do physically. Although, I don't really mind pottery, drawing, painting and stuff like that I enjoy doing computery stuff like photo editing, simple graphic design and photography.
I kinda like figuring things out and math/logic type stuff. I also enjoy listening and attempting to play music. The musical instruments I mess around on include: ukulele, drums, keyboard and a little bit of guitar, so I guess those could count as creative interests. I find music really cool just because you can let out and feel emotion while listening/playing it. Some of my favorite bands are: Nickelback, Lifehouse, The Beatles, Switchfoot and a bunch of others.
I feel like my interests can relate to the class this year because, like I said before I like and want to learn more about technical kind of stuff and after all this is computers class so thats good. I am looking forward to a really great year, learning a lot more from Jonny Long and having a good time.

Some things I would like to learn more about this year are:

  • Getting deeper into photo editing on Pixelmator and others programs.
  • Learning more about photography such as:  Nature, Architecture/Buildings, Portrait, Light drawing and timelapse
  • Just getting deeper into our computer and learning new cool stuff that we can do with them.
  • While I don't find it fun it would be cool to improve on my typing skills this year.
  • Just learn as much as I can from Jonny, because he has so much to offer and teach us, I can't wait to dive into another school year of computers class.
Thanks for reading!

  1. We're gonna have another good year, pal. Keep working hard and pushing yourself to not settle for the bear minimum. I'm always here to help and challenge you along the way :)
