Homework for Feb. 22nd

2-22-11

What I learned Feb.15th
Last wee was definitely one of my favorite weeks of class yet. I really liked being able to move and direct the light using the two key lights and the light reflector. It was cool to create a different effect of the subject by making the image extremely dark with only a hint of light or maybe making a lot of light on the subject of a different kind of effect.
I really appreciate everything we have learned about aperture, contrast, shutter speed and other effects that you can mess around and edit with the camera to dramatically change the photo. It is cool to learn how you can change light manually by moving the lights and reflectors around or you can change the aperture, shutter speed and such on your camera to get different effects on your image.
I really enjoy this class, I love leaning new things about photography and editing. I don’t think thats it would be something that I would be good at doing professionally, but it is something I like a lot and would love to pursue as a hobby.

So For these next picture you are not going to be able to tell much difference from the originals because of the very small changes, but here they are.

Photos I find inspirational

So I am sure you are familiar with the "world peace" kind of
phrase, I didn't really take it under consideration until a bit ago
and am realizing how important it would be to have world peace.
I mean everyone in the world stopping everything and realizing
that we were all put here for a reason and that it is not God's will
that we would continue fighting an disagreeing.

Music - Music is everywhere, on street corners, in shops and most
anywhere you go. Music is something that I don't know much about,
but it is something that I am passionate about and something I love
 to peruse.

One of my life long dreams is to start a business hopefully have
it be successful, retiring and being able to give my money away
to people and charities that really need it. Now I do think that people
should learn to support them self's and their family, but there is a
point where they need a little push in the right direction.

Apple pwns! Need I say more? Haha, but something I find
really inspiring about apple is that it was a small business that started
in a garage and now is one of the largest companies in the world.

I believe that we were ment to serve as Jesus did. I want
to follow in his foot steps and bless and serve the world.

The reason that I am inspired by this picture is because in the
past and maybe even right now I have had trouble with integrity.
I would try to be different people so others would "like" me more, but
I discovered that if your friends don't like you for who you really are
then they really aren't friends are they.

My personality is that I really like to have fun. Even if its
causing truble or breaking the rules I will to it in oder to have fun.
Now that doesn't always have the best ending so I try to keep my
 "fun" controlled.

This is one of my favorite sayings of all time. I really try to strive to
"Live as I'll die tomorrow" and "Dream as if I'll live forever". I figure
you only have a maximim of 104 years on this earth and we should do the
best with the time we do have. For me that means maybe buying someone lunch
or trying to treat everyone nicely as if the way you treat them now would be how they
would remember you forever if you did "Die tomorrow".
When I do my school work no matter how much I don't want to do an
assignment I figure how even the littlest can effect you both mentally and
academically.
